A West Kentucky Fall Engagement Session
Kalee and Dalton have been together forever… well since 8th grade. But high school sweethearts, right? They are so precious! Dalton popped the question on a drive through a canal overlook near Land Between The Lakes in Kentucky. He had been waiting for the perfect day and moment to propose and so they drove this particular canal loop several times over the course of several weeks \”looking for turkeys”. Being an avid outdoorsman, this was a great excuse for Dalton and one that kept Kalee from wondering if a proposal was coming. Finally the right day arrived and of course, Kalee said “Yes!” This is the cutest couple! We shot at a private location that has all the perfect settings for a country engagement session. We could not have asked for better weather and lighting and the were so much fun to have in front of my camera! I was sad the session was over but excited of course, to know we would be having a blast on their wedding day. Their joy throughout the evening was abundant and we laughed and talked about everything. As I was driving home from the session my cheeks hurt from laughing and smiling. Later I found myself the same way while editing their images. If this session is any indication of how their December 2022 wedding will be – and I have no doubt that is – then bring it!
