Sweet Brides at Watersedge
Kait and Casey are two of the sweetest brides you’ll ever meet! They were married on October 20, 2019 at Watersedge in Hilliard, Ohio.
They decided on a first look in the courtyard ceremony space and it was the perfect spot. All their family and wedding party looked on from the glass windows above! Their lakeside ceremony followed, with family formals taking place afterward back in the courtyard.
This was a wedding where we made sure to allow plenty of time for newlywed images, and I’m SO glad we did. They are stunning and among my favorite set of newlywed portraits from my 2019 season! We made sure to sneak out to the deck for a few more images of the two of them as the sun set, then we were back inside for toasts, cake, their combined father/daughter dance (I love this idea for two brides), dancing and fun, and then a sparkler exit to end the evening!
These two and all their pets have become friends of our family and I’m so grateful to have them in our lives. I brought my son over for a visit when I delivered their wedding images, and they brought dog treats over when we learned our dog was sick. They are lovely people and it was a joy and honor to capture their beautiful wedding!
