This day was beautiful. Emotional. Full of love. Joyful. Sweet. Sentimental. All the things. I’m finding that writing about Meg and Andy’s wedding at Maple Grove Estate is less about trying to figure out what I want to say and more about trying to narrow down what I want to say because I could gush all day.
It’s always such a privilege to serve couples during their engagement and on their wedding day, but there was something extra special about Meg and Andy’s wedding. Maybe it was the open air reception. It’s been such a long time since I’ve photographed one, and it reminded me how much I truly love them. Just the guests and the couple dancing the night away together under café lights and stars. It’s truly magical. Or maybe it was the way both sets of parents beamed all day with pride at the thought of their children marrying each other. There’s nothing better than seeing a newlywed couple surrounded by such a strong support system.
I am so proud of this wedding as a collection in my portfolio, and I hope the images really show off all the little details of Meg and Andy’s wedding. I am in love with the vibrant colors and rich tones of the florals they chose, and the classic silhouette of Meg’s wedding dress was simply stunning. She just looked so timeless! The direction their ceremony site was set up also needs to be mentioned because the way the light came in behind their arbor created the most perfect warm glow during the vows. I hope Meg and Andy’s wedding can serve as inspiration for other engaged couples who are planning their own special day because it truly was perfect.
